Frequently Asked Questions

When should I have a newborn session done?

Between 1-3 weeks after birth is ideal to get those beautiful sleepy shots, however I can do sessions after this and will work with your baby's flow as to the kinds of poses your baby tolerates.

When should I book for my newborn session?

Anytime from 12 weeks on wards. I make a tentative booking around a week after your due date and you will contact me once you've had your baby to confirm a time and date.

When should I have a sitter session done?

Between 6-12 months old, once your baby is able to sit independently and before they can walk. A sitter session is great for those parents who missed out on a newborn session as your baby is sitting, smiling and easy to attract their attention.

When should I have a maternity session done?

Between 32-36 weeks

Do you require a deposit?

Once i receive your inquiry, I will send via email a photography session agreement with an invoice with payment details to pay your deposit of $100. Please note, a date will only be set until you have paid your deposit. About a week or two prior to your session, I will send through a guide that will help your prepare for your session.

What if I need to reschedule/cancel?

If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, client may reschedule their session at least 24 hours prior to their shoot without penalty. Should client fail to give 24 hours notice or decide to completely cancel the shoot, this session fee is forfeited and will not be refunded.

Can I bring other children or family members/friends to the session?

Only bring other children if they are participating in the shoot and please bring dad or another adult which is able to take them home/to the park once their photos are finished as this can cause distraction and affect the session making your baby unsettled. My studio is small and therefore, only those having photos taken are to attend.
